Founded by Joshua Trey Garcia in Pearland, Texas, Altovan began with a simple observation: home kitchens were full of mismatched, stained plastic tubs and chipped ceramic bowls. They were hard to store, hard to clean, and frankly, uninspiring.

Coming from Texas, where gathering around food is a way of life, Joshua wanted to bring the efficiency of a professional restaurant kitchen into the home. Altovan (a fusion of "Alto" meaning high standard and "Vanguard") was created to provide high-quality, durable Stainless Steel Mixing Bowls that make prep work a joy, not a chore.
